JBlast by J2 Global Sends Me An Email To Make It Easy To Start Blasting Faxes

j2 efax jblast internet fax blasting account spam and junk faxIf you remember, I signed up for a trial account with Jblast to see what I got and what the process was like. I really wanted to get an understanding of how they handle the prospect of someone potentially sending hundreds or thousands of faxes that may or may not be junk fax or spam faxes. One thing I noticed was that they send you to another site fax4free.com for credit card verification and a rather clunky signup form.

Well, today I received a very nice email from a J2 representative telling me how to get started quickly and especially how to bypass their 3 day credit check to determine the validity of my credit card. No inquiry about my clients, who I would be faxing to or anything else. While I admire trusting your clients first and questioning them later as a general policy, in this case, I think it should be the other way around.

Here is the letter from my account rep about how to get rolling with my blasting account:

I noticed that you registered for a fax broadcast account and tried contacting you to activate your account but was not able to reach you. What’s the best number to reach you at so I can flip the switch on the account? Also, I can bypass the Credit Authorization letter for you so you don’t have to fax in your information and wait the 3 to 5 days it takes for your card’s existence to be verified. Once I run your first transaction for you, the money will go directly into your account and your card will then have history with us (allowing you to make future purchases via internet).

Essentially they are telling me they are here to make it easy for me to get rolling with my broadcast fax blasts.

Now, I have had a few questions of late about why I am ganging up on J2, but unfortunately for them, they have been on the radar since I launched the site with several moves that make it easy for me to write about them. I do not generally like how they operate their business, but this just happens to be coincidence.
